Anthony Flamier, Ph.D.

Principal Investigator

Anthony Flamier obtained a Master in science from the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes of Paris. He completed his Ph.D. in molecular biology from the Université de Montréal under the supervision of Dr. Gilbert Bernier where he used iPSC models of Alzheimer’s disease. He received a Jane Coffin Childs postdoctoral fellowship to study the epigenetics of Alzheimer’s disease and autism in the laboratory of Dr. Rudolf Jaenisch at the Whitehead institute of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Since 2023, he is now part of the CHU Sainte-Justine research center to tackle neurologic diseases using human pluripotent stem cells and (epi)genetic editing.
